User Researcher - UX Researcher - Contract - Financial Services

I am currently recruiting for an experienced User Researcher, working with one of our clients in financial services. This will be primarily a qualitative role and xperience with exploratory research is essential. They are looking for someone who is able to understand and identify the customer's wants and needs.

As a User Researcher, you will be working closely with the product team, working collaboratively to ask the most important questions and answer them with the knowledge gained from your research.

Duties will include:

  • Working with the design team to visualise who they are designing for and helping to understand any gaps in their knowledge.
  • Setting specific goals and carrying out UX testing
  • Generating reports on key insights and keeping the team focused and engaged
  • Helping colleagues understand how to carry out design research and acting as a coach/mentor to the wider team.

Ideally, you will be able to come in and hit the ground running, with proven experience of qualitative research, leading on fieldwork, conducting interviews and communicating with stakeholders of all levels. You will need strong communication skills and the ability to lead teams helping to coach and develop those around you.

Prior experience within financial services is not essential.

Based out of their London office, this role is a hybrid structure looking for someone able to come in for 1-2 days per week.
